A bit of history:
Our bulk liners have been utilized by companies around the world to realize
more efficient bulk shipments. Since we began manufacturing in 1977, we
have been aiding in the shipment of products from the petrochemical, agricultural,
and mineral industries. By 1987, our current manufacturing facility and
offices in New York was operational.
In 1992 Powertex received the coveted and original approval of ISO 9002:
1994 guidelines in the United States. At this time, our international
network of agents was formed in Europe and the Far East. Over the course
of the next eight years, we introduced more than 100 new liner designs
to allow difficult-flowing products and powders to be shipped in bulk
liners. In 1999 Powertex opened its manufacturing facility in China.
In 2003, continuing our leadership in the industry, Powertex extended
its services to include material-handling equipment, logistics and project
management while further expanding its product line.
Recently we opened a manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, producing
our Sealiner® flexitanks and have also opened a joint venture manufacturing
operation in India to increase our global production capabilities. This
commitment to efficiency via expanding our global reach of production
is further supported by our unique commitment to comprehensive services.
